Es ist vollbracht
I finished watching all Battlestar Galactica episodes! I know, you're just as excited as I am! But seriously, what a wonderful show. Great acting, great story. In other news, I'm still in Hungary (Budapest to be exact) and I'm stealing someone's wireless. Tonight we'll be heading back to Switzerland and tomorrow I'll bless all of my faithful readers with a longer post about this week. I know you can't wait!

Kein Alkohol ist auch keine Lösung
More than a week has passed since my last post, and some stuff happened, so - Bullet Points!
- The Openair St. Gallen Festival last weekend was fantastic and I managed to see Placebo, LCD Soundsystem, Kaiser Chiefs, Arcade Fire, Wir sind Helden and Snow Patrol. I also consumed inappropriate amounts of alcohol, slept very little and gathered a couple of bruises that I can't explain and some that I can. Weather-wise we were very lucky, it only started raining during the last concert on Sunday, I was very happy about that since I had expected three days of rain which quite frankly would've sucked (pics from the festival are here).
- Monday to Friday this week I slept a lot. And I am now at episode 9 of the third season of Battlestar Galactica. Oh, and I went to the Uni on Wednesday to take care of some administrative stuff with regard to my exchange. These are literally all of this week's achievements right there.
- Last night was Zürifäscht. Zürifäscht was fun. The fireworks were pretty and we watched them from the roof of a tall building which was great. Also, I may or may not have embarrassed myself due to alcohol-induced verbal diarrhea. Oh well, if I had a Franc for everytime...nevermind.
- Tomorrow I'm going to Hungary with my Mum for a week. Yay! We'll be visiting Lake Balaton, Budapest, a little town outside Budapest and whichever town my mum's dentist lives in, 'cause she managed to break off part of a tooth and according to her that's rather uncomfortable. I'll be going with her because if you can't remember the last time you saw a dentist, then it's probably been to long. Let's hope that I can continue on my lucky streak of no - problems - with - teeth - whatsoever that I've been on since birth.

If Being Lazy Were A Crime...
Except that swimming is probably healthier than too much sleeping, plus you get a tan! Or as in my case, a sunburn. Same difference (at least after a couple of days).
I guess I should have known about the weather getting worse. That always happens as soon as I decide to buy an Abo for the local swimming pool. I get to go two or three times and then it starts raining and doesn't stop until September. So you can already thank me all for a crappy summer!
Anyway, this weekend I'm taking a break from my bad conscience, since it's time for the awesomest music festival ever, the Openair St. Gallen! Three days of sleep deprivation, substance abuse, being covered in mud (if the weather stays this way) and great music that sounds awful because it's almost impossible to get the sound right when you're playing outside. Sounds appealing, no?
Oh is this the way they say the future's meant to feel?
Or just 20,000 people standing in a field.
And I don't quite understand just what this feeling is.
But that's okay 'cause we're all sorted out for E's and wizz.
And tell me when the spaceship lands
'cause all this has just got to mean something.
In the middle of the nite, it feels alright, but then tommorow morning.
Oh then you come down.
Oh yeah the pirate radio station told us what was going down.
Got the tickets from some mashed up bloke in Camden Town.
Oh and no-one seems to know exactly where it is.
But that's okay 'cause we're all sorted out for E's and wizz.
At 4 o'clock the normal world seems very, very, very far away.
Alright.
In the middle of the nite, it feels alright, but then tommorow morning.
Oh then you come down. Just keep on moving...
Everybody asks your name
They say we're all the same and it's "nice one", "geezer"
But that's as far as the conversation went.
I lost my friends, I dance alone, it's six o'clock I wanna go home.
But it's "no way", "not today", makes you wonder what it meant.
And this hollow feeling grows and grows and grows and grows
And you want to phone your mother and say
"Mother, I can never come home again
'cause I seem to have left an important part of my brain somewhere
Somewhere in a field in Hampshire".
Alright. In the middle of the nite, it feels alright
But then tommorow morning.
Oh then you come down.
What if you never come down?

Summer - A TV-Wasteland. Or is it?
As anyone who knows me knows, I'm a huge US-TV-shows addict. Unfortunately most shows go on hiatus by mid-May, leaving my life empty and pointless. But, alas, there is a remedy! Summer sci-fi shows!
Kyle XY: Now in its second season, the show started out with a pretty and pretty naked young man waking up in the forest, covered in pink goo and with no navel. There's also a conspiracy, a loving foster family and blatant product placement for Sour Patch Kids. What more do you want?
The 4400: Now in its fourth season, the show started out with 4400 people appearing out of the blue in a spot formerly known as a lake (*poof*, water gone, *poof*, people there). All these people had disappeared off the face of the earth at some point during the last 100 years or so. They don't remember anything after their abduction and they haven't aged. They also can do pretty cool shit like predict the future, heal, control people's minds, etc.
Eureka: Starting its second season this July, Eureka is about a small town (called Eureka) somewhere in the US. It is also a secret town. With genius scientist inhabitants only. And when they do their science stuff, things go wrong. Weird things. And then the local common sense, non-genius scientist sheriff has to clean up the mess. He is not happy about this, but at least he has a lovely bratty teenage daughter and a high-tech house that talks to him. Hey, why not?
Intrigued yet?

Re-Invention (!)
It won't be a fancy travel blog (due to the fact that I'm not travelling at the moment or the near future) and I will definitely spare any readers that may be the intricacies of my Master's Thesis (maybe there will be one post about it, just to get it out of the way). Mainly, I don't know yet what I'll be writing about (in the blog I mean - I do kinda know the subject of my Thesis), but I promise, it will be as funny as possible. And comments will inspire me to be an extra 10% funny. True story.
As for staying bi-lingual on the blog - I don't know yet. I'm leaning towards English only, but by popular demand (again, more than one comment), I would probably add the German versions again. So, are you ready? This will be the awesomest not read blog ever!
Also, seid ihr bereit? Das wird der tollste ungelesene Blog überhaupt!

Last Post (?)
But for now - farewell! All you peepz can still catch me on facebook 'cuz I'm cool like that.
