I know I'm a little late with this, but here's a hilarious commercial of Molson, a Canadian beer brand, and the Québécois spoof of it!

Well, I'm back in good ol' Switzerland (citizenship included this time!). I've already had classes, sent in my vote for the upcoming referendum (a first! my voting, that is, not the institution of referendums), and cleanded my apartment. Of course I've also exhaustively celebrated seeing some nice people again, which was definitely as much fun as it sounds.
Unfortunately all of these activities don't change the fact that my two biggest pending tasks, writing my Master's Thesis and looking for a job/make career decisions, won't just go away. I am headed for uncharted waters here (and drinking distilled ones in the process) - cheers, I say!

The End is Nigh
Sigh. Only two and a half days left in Montréal. And all my great sightseeing-plans have been cancelled due to really bad weather. Not fair. I guess this means I'll have to come back here some time as a full-blown tourist!
But isn't it typical? At first I was a crybaby about missing home and stuff and now I don't want to leave just yet...
Seufz.

Yep, NYC's Still AWESOME

A Tale of Two Cities
While so far the primary instinct was to stay home and not set a foot out the door unless it was absolutely necessary, now I actually feel like going out, see the city, meet people and all that stuff! Of course, it helps a lot that school/exams are over...
So, yes, I have been going out, starting Thursday I spent a lot of time with exchange students, have been to clubs and bars and restaurants and generally had a good time. Tonight Annie and I are going to see a Cirque du Soleil show (yay!), then I'll probably hit the town later and it will all culminate in the big end of semester party tomorrow night at one of the University buildings!
Then on Thursday it's off to New York till sometime next week and then, my friends, it's almost over...Two weeks from today I'll arrive in Munich, at 5.30h in the morning (that's gonna be just great for my jetlag). But yes, I'm looking forward to seeing you all again! And I've definitely learned my lesson - Montréal in winter? No, no, no, no. Montréal in summer? Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Jawohl!
